At GPSA Research Exposition


GPSA Research Exposition participants compete in 6 categories (see below) for a total of $9,600 in scholarships. Within each category, the following scholarships will be awarded.

  • First place: $700
  • Second place: $500
  • Third place: $300
  • Fourth place: $100

The GPSA Strategic Planning & Scholarship Committee reviews abstracts using the 2019 GPSA Research Exposition Abstract Evaluation Rubric (pdf), shown below.

1Did not follow formatting guidelines: Not organized, no headings, or multiple spelling and punctuation errors.Objective is not stated or underdeveloped nor justified.Logical errors in methods. The review process is double blind, which means that both reviewer and author identities are concealed.

Watch for email notification of acceptance in mid-February.

Poster judging

Be at your poster for judging on Thur., March 26.

If your abstract is accepted, you will receive notification in February of your judging time at the event.

Judges will ask you to present your poster. They will follow your presentation with questions.

The GPSA Strategic Planning & Scholarship Committee will send an email announcement of winners in each competition category.
